Celestial Pearl Danio fish are easy to care for, thanks to their peaceful temperament. They require a ten-gallon tank that can house at least 5 of these fish. Since they are freshwater fish, they need a warmer temperature of 72°F and a diet of fish flakes and micro worms.
Before they were scientifically researched, the aquarium hobby assumed they were rasboras and dubed them Galaxy Rasboras. It was later realized when they classified them that they are closer to danios. Thus the rename of Celestial Pearl Danios. Some sellers still incorrectly refer to them as galaxy rasboras to this date, being not as rasbora, but a danio.
