The screw connection between the top and bottom parts of the toy are often not properly threaded, so it's hard to take them apart to install the battery. The last one I bought wouldn't even unscrew. I ended up using the battery from the new one in the old casing.
Either the battery or the toy's power management is awful because the light doesn't even last a couple of weeks. And we're not even playing with it everyday. And even when we do, it's not for more than 5 minutes, given the cat's attention span.
This was a good choice to encourage condo cat who has started to put on weight since we moved from a spacious home to condo to get some exercise . Having great fun with it
