Red eye balloon tetra is also known as a lampeye balloon tetra. It is a good choice for beginners as it is a hardy fish. The red eye balloon tetra is a short body version of the red eye tetra. Its metallic look, dynamic energy and signature red eye with it's pop of colour combine to create an elegant display when kept in a school of six or more.
